A round up of news stories about Chelsea this morning.
The Daily Mail has reported that French giants Paris Saint-Germain will make an assault for a Chelsea star this summer.
No it’s not Eden Hazard, but Jose Mourinho’s primary right-back Branislav Ivanovic.
Ivanovic has been one of the Blues’ most consistent players this season, recently starting talks over a new deal to stay in West London.
Jose Mourinho reacted furiously to the news that Manchester City’s Yaya Toure will not be banned for kicking Norwich City player Ricky Van Wolfswinkel last weekend.
TV pictures showed Toure reacting to the Norwich City player, kicking him with what would have been a straight red card offence had the referee seen it.
The lack of punishment means Toure will be available for the FA Cup clash between the sides this weekend.
Fernando Torres is in line to return to the Chelsea squad against West Brom this evening.
The Spaniard has been missing in recent weeks with a knee injury but Jose Mourinho has confirmed the striker’s availability.
It’s unclear whether Mourinho will start the forward but it’s more likely that he’ll feature from the bench.
