David Marshall came to his side's rescue once again in the 0-0 draw with Aston Villa.
And as per usual, the Scot did it more than once, denying Fabian Delph with a reflex save before making a simply world-class stop in the dying minutes - one that has been deemed by some Cardiff fans as the 'save of the season.'
Marshall himself, meanwhile, could become a contender for the award of best overall Premier League goalkeeper, with many seeing him as the league's most in-form stopper.
A few days ago, HITC Sport asked whether Marshall's heroics can save Cardiff from relegation this season - and the evidence provided on Tuesday bodes very well indeed for Bluebirds fans.
More will be needed from the 28-year-old's team-mates, though, even if the 0-0 draw with Villa was another point Marshall was able to earn practically all by himself.
Paul Lambert bemoaned Marshall's performance after the game:
"He's played against Barcelona in the Nou Camp and was world class that night. You're talking about parking the bus, we parked everything that night.
"Then we played against Rangers on the Sunday and he was the same then.
"You always knew he had the potential. I think he lost his way a little bit then started to pick up again and he had a really good game."
Here's how Cardiff fans reacted to his efforts:
