Nottingham Forest defender, Derby County's on-loan Liverpool starlet and Fulham's young centre-back all feature.
Once upon a time influential French defender Younes Kaboul was a fan favourite at White Hart Lane, admired for his pace, power and dominance over opposition players.
In recent years the former France international has been so ravaged by injuries, that he has just managed four Premier League appearances in the past two seasons.
The last appearance he made for the club was a starting place away at Manchester City and it is likely to be a game he would much rather forget. Aguero, Negredo and Navas all ran riot, putting a sorry Tottenham defensive display to shame and left the pitch having conceded six goals.
With his contract up at the end of the season, it's likely that manager Tim Sherwood could go in another direction for his place in the squad, going with someone younger with a bit of promise.
We take a look at three players he could look to bring in to fill the void the Frenchman is likely to leave.
Jamaal Lascelles - Nottingham Forest
The highly-rated 20-year-old has recently broken into the first team at the City Ground, despite more experienced competition. He has recently hit his best form of the season, producing Man of the Match displays against Preston and Blackpool in his last two matches.
The deal could depend on the price of the young defender, as Nottingham Forest are likely to be unwilling sellers and with the backing from Kuwaiti businessman Fawaz Al-Hasawi they are under no financial desperation to do so.
Dan Burn - Fulham
Fulham's young giant defender has proven himself one of the most dominant defenders in English football, both at Premier League and Championship level.
The 21-year-old currently has the highest effective clearances to game ratio out of all Premier League players this season (14.3) and despite only playing four times, this stat is backed up by his form at Championship level which was even higher (15.7).
His breakthrough appearances at Craven Cottage have caught the imagination of Fulham fans with many tipping him for a huge future in the game and him to play an integral part in their attempt at a 'great escape'. The asking price once again is likely to be quite high but he is definitely a potential gem especially if the Cottagers get relegated.
Andre Wisdom - Liverpool (on-loan at Derby County)
England's U21 captain may be the outstanding candidate to replace Kaboul, in the sense that he plays a very similar style and of a very similar build to the Frenchman and could possibly be the cheapest option out of the three named.
He has been primarily played right-back for the East Midland's outfit, however, in the England youth set-up he is the number one centre-back. He is an incredibly strong player with a good amount of pace, able to play and cover a number of positions and more importantly a very good hard-working attitude.
The asking price for the young defender could be slightly less than that for Burn and Lascelles, however, Liverpool still won't allow him to leave too easily and are likely to put up a fight for one of their top youngsters.
