It has been a tough few days for Arsene Wenger and the Daily Star believes the French manager has been dealt a further blow as Bacary Sagna and Lukasz Fabianski have turned down contract extensions.
Sagna's name has previously been mentioned as a possible summer target for Inter, who are looking to rebuild a struggling squad.
Large sections of the Italian media are convinced that the Nerazzurri are going to bring Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic to San Siro on a free transfer.
It is claimed that Sagna is frustrated with not having received a pay rise since 2008 and is ready to find a new club.
Inter would be an option and several Italian media outlets believe a deal is in the offing, but they may find their financial resources are eclipsed by other European clubs looking for Sagna's services.
The Daily Star believes that French giants Monaco are ready to offer £120,000 per week after tax plus a massive signing-on fee.
Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Galatasaray are also allegedly considering making an offer.
Inter are reportedly hoping Vidic can halve his wage demands to join the club, so their chances of luring Sagna seem slim.
