There are Manchester United fans who want an instant change to the managerial situation.
Manchester United's draw with Fulham at Old Trafford yesterday was one of the most frustrating matches fans have had to endure this season.
Making a season high 81 crosses, with just 22 per cent of them finding their intended target, the Red Devils' seemingly singular game plan was badly exposed.
For many, the match was a turning point in terms of manager David Moyes. Under pressure all season due to poor results and a transfer window shocker last summer, this was the game which exposed his flawed tactics in front of a worldwide audience.
Similar in theme to their 2-1 defeat to Stoke, in which they delivered 40 crosses into the box, with no success in terms of goals to show for it, and one point gained from the two games.
In fact that poor return has seen United slip nine points behind Liverpool in the race for fourth spot, with the Merseyside club in fine form.
The poor tactics has seen many supporters criticising the manager, and questioning whether he is the right man to lead them forward, regardless of the different players they could buy in the summer.
They would never sack him now though, would they? After all, the best managers are all surely in jobs and available only at the end of the season?
There was one name, however, which cropped up several times among supporters on social networking sites in light of United's draw with Fulham: Michael Laudrup.
The Swansea City boss was sacked a week ago after falling out with the board over the best way to lead the club forward, and remains out of work - amid claims in The Mail he is being monitored by Swansea City and Real Madrid.
The Dane won the League Cup in his debut season in England last season, winning numerous plaudits and building an impressive reputation for playing free-flowing football.
However as the reaction from Swansea City fans showed with regard to his sacking, many felt he had it coming.
The fact he is out of work and his success of last season has suddenly however made him a simple 'solution' for a number of United fans wanting David Moyes out immediately.
The calls won't be to everybody's preferences clearly, but here is what supporters had to say about the possibility via Twitter.
Sack Moyes!,bring Laudrup as interim manager till end of season, then analyze him..it can't get any worse!.— Sarcastic Frank™ (@franklinto) February 9, 2014
michael laudrup would be a better manager than Moyes. And our football wouldn't be so dire— Jaye Feast (@jayemufcfeast) February 9, 2014
If Moyes were to get sacked (which he won't), I would like Gary Neville or Michael Laudrup to take charge.— Adam (@AdamTheManc) February 9, 2014
Michael Laudrup is available. RT @Ronandinho_: Everyone calling for Moyes to be sacked, who comes in then?— Bolutife LORDson (@BolutifeLORDson) February 9, 2014
I’m Starting to doubt Moyes tactics, should be beating teams like Fulham without any hassle. Laudrup in if we don’t finish top five.— Gareth Lewis (@gazlewis1984) February 9, 2014
Hopefully moyes is sacked soon and laudrup replaces him #dreaming— Lewis Sandford (@Lewis_Sands) February 9, 2014
fk moyes right off and take a chance on laudrup— Matt (@matthammy13) February 9, 2014
It took 25 games for the levy to break in my mind. Moyes should not be at this club. Heck, sack him now and bring in laudrup till may.— Osaretin (@akenzuathesixth) February 9, 2014
