EA Sport's FIFA returns and this time the whole world is invited so get ready to go for glory at the 2014 Brazilian World Cup.

Electronic Arts have announced the next instalment of EA Sports Fifa, officially called EA Sports 2014 Fifa World Cup Brazil and this time you control the fate of a nation on the road to the 2014 Brazilian World Cup.

With over 200 teams (203 to be exact) as well as 19 officially licensed managers and 21 new stadiums which includes all the stadiums being used in the upcoming tournament. There is also a staggering 7,469 football players as well.

As with every new release of the FIFA series EA are promising a level of detail and authenticity that has never been seen before in the series.

New innovations and improvements FIFA fans have got to look forward to include the ability to accelerate, decelerate and quickly change direction whilst players are on and off the ball which is aptly names ‘Explosive Movement’ and the new ‘World Class Control’ feature that includes ‘Response Dribbling’ and ‘Pinpoint Passing.’

Visual improvements include 100 new animations covering passing, saves and penalty kicks and there are new crowd scenes which include banners, flags, seat cards and 'Live City' events which are promised to add additional atmosphere to each match. For example, if you score a goal when playing as England you’ll see fans going wild in celebration in the centre of London.

Players who like the on-line experience can take part in the ‘Road to Rio De Janeiro’ tournament that lets players win their way across the 12 stadiums that will be hosting the games in Brazil.

You won’t have to wait long to get your fix of World Cup glory as the game is officially out on PS3 and Xbox 360 on the 15th April in North America and the 17th April 2014 in Europe.
