Forgotten Manchester United striker Frederico Macheda rediscovered his golden touch on Saturday.

The Italian hit the back of the net once in each half for Birmingham City at Charlton Athletic, giving the Championship side a vital win that moved them nine points clear of the relegation zone.

And Macheda's match-winning double took his tally to three goals in two games since he moved to St. Andrew's on loan at the end of January, as the 22-year-old looks to impress both potential suitors in the Championship and the coaching staff back at Old Trafford.

The only question is whether Macheda can keep this kind of form up...

But if he does, could he have a long-term future at Birmingham - or even United?
