CONFIRMED: Swansea City & Cardiff City line-ups

Swansea Liberty Stadium

Here is how Swansea City and Cardiff City will line-up for this evening’s match.

Swansea City starting XI: Vorm, Rangel, Chico, Williams, Davies, Britton, de Guzman, Emnes, Dyer, Routledge, Bony

Subs: Tremmel. Amat, Taylor, Canas, Hernandez, Lamah, Ngog

Cardiff City starting XI: Marshall, John, Caulker, Turner, Fabio, Whittingham, Medel, Kim, Zaha, Bellamy, Jones

Subs: Lewis, Campbell, Noone, Mutch, McNaughton, Daehli, Cala

Michael Laudrup may have been the victim of his own success – Swansea’s Europa League campaign arguably taking its toll on their Premier League form – but the former Danish international is now gone, it is up to Garry Monk to prevent Cardiff doing a derby double over their Welsh rivals.

Just three points separate the two sides, so this match could not be more vital as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side tries to climb out of the relegation-zone and the Swans attempt to steer clear of it.

Michel Vorm and Michu are both available again after lengthy lay-offs, while Cardiff are without Mark Hudson due to a hamstring injury.

Today’s hosts have won just one of their last 10 league matches, and given that all five of Cardiff’s league victories this season have been by a one-goal margin, expect this one to be close.

What do you think the result will be this evening?
