CONFIRMED: Liverpool & Arsenal line-ups

Giant Anfield Flag

Here is how Liverpool and Arsenal will line up for this afternoon’s match at Anfield:

Liverpool starting XI: Mignolet, Flanagan, Cissokho, Toure, Skrtel, Sterling, Coutinho, Gerrard, Henderson, Suarez, Sturridge

Subs: Jones, Kelly, Ibe, Moses, Aspas, Allen, Alberto

Arsenal starting XI: Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Monreal, Arteta, Wilshere, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorla, Ozil, Giroud

Subs: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Gibbs, Rosicky, Gnabry, Podolski, Bendtner

What a way to start another weekend of Premier League action. Leaders Arsenal go to fourth-place Liverpool knowing that this is just the start of a very tough run of fixtures.

With Manchester City and Chelsea breathing down the Gunners’ necks, they cannot afford to drop points. But taking all three from Brendan Rodgers’ side will be easier said than done.

Liverpool are without five players due to injury – Mamadou Sakho, Lucas Leiva, Jose Enrique, Daniel Agger and Glen Johnson – although the latter two are expected to return very soon. Arsenal are definitely without the suspend Mathieu Flamini, along with long-term absentees Aaron Ramsey and Kim Kallstrom.

Arsene Wenger’s side have won their last two league games at Anfield, although today’s hosts are unbeaten in their last 10 matches there in all competitions, failing to win on only one occasion.

What do you think today’s result will be?
