Manchester United are set to don the Chevrolet sponsor next season.
Here are the new images of what Manchester United’s 2014/15 kits may look like:
As a result of Manchester United’s contract with current AON coming to an end, Manchester United had already revealed that they have struck up a deal with car manufacturer Chevrolet who will sponsor the Red Devils from next season onwards.
The new deal with Chevrolet is reported to be worth an astonishing £357m between now and 2021 – more than doubling what they currently earn from AON.
From the start of the 2014-15 season when the new shirts come to into practice, the Red Devils will receive an estimated £44.75m – a whopping amount - followed by the amount paid rising 2.1% in each following season until 2020-2021.
Whilst the money appears to be excellent, Chevrolet’s design on the shirts also looks top notch – as new images have been released of the designs for the 2014/15 shirt.
The design includes a simple black v-collar which appears to be slightly tighter and faded diagonal lines which look well-designed.
With the mock shirts, each shirt resembles former Manchester United striker Eric Cantona and his famous number 7. It has to be the said, the shirts look very snazzy indeed.
