A round up of the latest news stories about Tottenham Hotspur this morning.

Dimitar Berbatov has said joining AS Monaco over a return to Tottenham was an easy decision.

The Bulgarian was linked with a White Hart Lane return in a cut price deal. Reports suggested Spurs were interested in a £1.5-2 million transfer.

“In fact, it was easy for me to choose. It is a great team and I know the coach (Claudio Ranieri) who worked in England. It is a new adventure,” he’s quoted by the Mirror.

Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly try and sign Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris in the summer.

The Express has linked the French giants with a massive £16.5 million move for the Frenchman.

However, Lloris has expressed no desire to leave White Hart Lane and the club have expressed no desire to get rid of him.

Christian Eriksen is set for a return to former club Ajax.

The Dane will return to the club on February 16 as he’s been invited for a proper farewell by his old club.

The Dutch giants are thought to want to show their appreciation for the 21-year-old, who was part of a side that won three league titles in a row.
