Liverpool fans have criticised the ‘absurd’ decision to cut their ticket allocation for the FA Cup fifth-round tie against The Gunners.
Liverpool have been allocated just half of what they are entitled to - and the supporters group Spirit of Shankly have stated:
"[We] have immediately re-written to both clubs to ask them to explain this decision, given the absurdity that a football club can designate an area as being available to away supporters yet then raise fears over potential safety issues."
Fans of Arsenal and Spurs have backed their stance.
Santi Cazorla has been named the Arsenal Player of the Month for his performances throughout January. The Spaniard scored five goals in six appearances for The Gunners over the last month and received over half the votes from fans on Arsenal.com.
Cazorla is the third player to win the award this season after Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott.
Meanwhile Tomas Rosicky received the Goal of the Month award for his strike against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup third round.
He will be joining Bayern Munich at the end of the season when his contract expires at Borussia Dortmund - and he has been speaking about how his international team-mate was trying to tempt him into a move:
“I can confirm that Wojciech Szczesny tried to convince me to join Arsenal. We had several talks about this. It was him who did most of the talking, how the club looks inside, what Arsène Wenger thinks of me. When we trained before the Champions League games at Colney, there were important people from Arsenal at our sessions as well."
