Vincent Tan continues Mackay feud: 'Solskjaer is much better'

Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan has continued his public feud with former boss Malky Mackay.

Usually, when you keep talking about an ex-partner (business or pleasure), it means there are still feelings there.

It is difficult to assess whether that is the case with Vincent Tan, however, after the Bluebirds owner took another public jibe at former manager Malky Mackay.

Tan sacked Mackay after relations between the duo reached breaking point, with the Scot's replacement Ole Gunnar Solskjaer impressing his new owner in Cardiff's 2-1 win over Norwich City on Saturday.

And the eccentric Malaysian took it as the perfect opportunity to rub salt into Mackay's wounds.

"I am very happy with Solskjaer," he told reporters. "He's much better than Malky Mackay. It was a very excellent win."

Cardiff are just two points from safety after the win, lying in 19th place. Mackay, meanwhile, is yet to find a new job in management.

When he does, expect fireworks if his side are ever to come up against his former boss.

Is Solskjaer a better manager than Mackay or is it too soon to tell?
