CONFIRMED: West Brom & Liverpool line-ups

West Brom - The Hawthorns

Here is how West Bromwich Albion & Liverpool will line-up for this afternoon’s match:

West Bromwich Albion starting XI: Foster, Jones, Ridgewell, McAuley, Ollson, Yacob, Berahino, Mulumbu, Gera, Brunt, Vydra

Subs: Myhill, Dorans, Anichebe, Lugano, Reid, Sinclair, Amilfitano

Liverpool starting XI: Mignolet, Flanagan, Toure, Skrtel, Cissokho, Gerrard, Henderson, Coutinho, Sterling, Sturridge, Suarez

Subs: Jones, Kelly, Ibe, Allen, Alberto, Aspas, Moses

After Manchester United’s defeat to Stoke City yesterday, Liverpool know that victory against West Bromwich Albion this afternoon could see them take a huge step towards Champions League qualification next season.

The fact that Tottenham also dropped points means the Reds’ only realistic challengers for fourth-spot could soon be Everton…and what a battle that will be!

For now though, Brendan Rodgers will focus on this match against the Baggies, who are outside the relegation-zone only on goal-difference.

Pepe Mel’s side have won just one of their last 13 matches, but they will take hope from the fact that they won the corresponding fixture last season. It will be quite a task keeping today’s visitors out though – Liverpool have scored in their last 13 games.

What do you think the result will be this afternoon?
