Atletico Madrid had a busy last day of the January transfer window, signing former star Diego, and allowing a young star to leave the Vicente Calderon on loan.
Oliver Torres is widely acknowledged as one of the brightest young players in Spanish football and has been in the gaze of a number of European teams.
The 19-year-old has shot to prominence playing for Spain age-grade sides, most recently impressing for the under-21 outfit last year.
However, the teenager will not be moving to England anytime soon, as he has been sent on loan to Villarreal for the rest of the season.
The El Madrigal outfit also have the opportunity to extend this temporary deal for the entirety of next season if they wish.
Torres has only played five La Liga games this season for high-flying Atletico, and as such will surely prosper by being given the chance to feature more regularly while on loan.
The star signed a new Atletico contract back in September, which will keep him in the Spanish capital until 2018.
