Piers Morgan calls latest Arsenal setback a ‘farce’

Piers Morgan

Piers Morgan has taken to Twitter once more to have his say on Kim Kallstrom's injury setback less than 24 hours after joining Arsenal.

Arsenal fan Piers Morgan is no stranger to these pages. When there is something to be said about the Gunners, he invariably says it. And it is fair to say he has not been impressed with Arsene Wenger’s transfer dealings – or lack of them – in the January window.

Yesterday he took to Twitter to voice his frustration at the French manager’s failure to bring in a new striker, and today he has had his say following the news that loan signing Kim Kallstrom is now out with a back injury.

As a result, the Swedish international now faces a spell out of the side he has only just joined.

So what did Morgan think about that? Well, he is no too happy, calling the situation a “farce”.

It is now being reported by the BBC that Kallstrom will miss at least six games, which is another blow for a club who are on the verge of something amazing…if only they can get over the line ahead of Chelsea and Manchester City.
