12 months ago, Andre Santos' time at Arsenal had come to an unofficial end.
The Gunners had signed Nacho Monreal from Malaga to solve the club's left-back problem, and he never played another game for Arsenal again.
He was loaned out to Gremio back in Brazil until the end of the season, before being sold in the summer to Flamengo.
It's been a great move for him, earning his way back into the Brazil reckoning, and he even won silverware, lifting the Brazilian Cup at the end of last year.
But Arsenal are not forgotten. During a question and answer session on his Twitter account he was quizzed whether his former club could win the league.
Note he quite deliberately avoided making a prediction, does he lack confidence that they will? Perhaps, but it doesn't stop him wanting it to happen.
Santos hoping Arsenal win the league may not mean much, but for all the flak he took from sections of the support at varying points in his stay, it's good to see he still wishes his former club well.
