Arsenal striking hope Benik Afobe has been granted the chance he has been waiting for, by Championship side Sheffield Wednesday.
He made his name as one of the most promising talents in the Arsenal youth ranks, yet has big shoes to fill at Hillsborough, replacing previous loanee Connor Wickham who bagged 8 goals in 12 starts.
Yet Afobe has the backing of former Arsenal youth colleague and now first team and international star, Jack Wilshere, who sent the following 'good luck' Tweet, backing him to score goals and be a 'problem' for Championship defences.
Afobe is desperate to make up for lost time. He missed eight months of his career to a serious injury, making his comeback at the end of 2013.
He bagged the winner for Arsenal's under-21 side in midweek in a cup contest against Chelsea, firing home the only goal of the game in extra time.
At the very least if he is not able to prove himself good enough for Arsenal long-term, the spell at Wednesday can propel him to other clubs, and get a bit of stability and regular football in his career.
Fans of the Owls will hope Jack Wilshere is proved right.
