Juventus have handed Pablo Daniel Osvaldo a chance to relaunch his career by taking him on loan for the rest of the season.
The Italian international's time at Southampton was nothing short of disastrous and although he leaves on loan, there seems to be little chance of him playing for the Saints again.
The marksman also recalled how difficult it was playing against Juventus for Roma and expressed his gratitude for Fernando Llorente's recent praise.
There was no mention of the attack on Jose Fonte that saw Osvaldo suspended, but he said that he had been excited by the chance to play in England and things hadn't been as he had expected.
Osvaldo will need to win over many of the Juventus fans who feel that he is unreliable and could even derail a side that are currently leading Serie A comfortably.
The new man's first challenge will be to earn a place in Antonio Conte's starting 11, which is no mean feat with Carlos Tevez and Llorente forming a productive partnership and Fabio Quagliarella and Mirko Vucinic looking likely to stay at the club.
