Ryan Fredericks has prolonged his stay at White Hart Lane until 2016, and will now remain on loan at Millwall for the remainder of the campaign.
Tottenham have been surprisingly quiet on transfer deadline day, with not much to report in the way of new faces for the north London outfit.
However, one player on the Spurs books has extended his stay with the club, as Ryan Fredericks has put pen-to-paper on a new contract.
The latest deal will keep the 21-year-old at White Hart Lane until 2016. He is adjudged as one of the brightest prospects to recently come out of the youth system.
The news, released on Tottenham’s official website, confirms that Fredericks will also spend the remainder of this season on loan at Millwall.
The former England under-19 man has made an instant impression at The Den, scoring the only goal of the game in spectacular fashion for his new club against Ipswich.
The loan spell was initially scheduled to only last for three months, but Fredericks will get the chance to increase his amount of regular first-team football with the Championship outfit.
Along with the likes of Harry Kane and Tom Carroll, Fredericks is eyed as a future star for Tottenham.
