Hull City transfer news: Arrivals unlikely, departures expected

Hull City manager Steve Bruce doesn't expect any incoming transfer activity and was relieved to hang on to Jake Livermore amid rumours of Spurs recalling him early from a loan spell.

Here's all the latest Hull fans need to know:

Livermore stays on Humberside:

There had been fears the on-loan Tottenham Hotspur midfielder would return to his parent club, but Bruce confirmed at his press conference he would not leave the KC Stadium until the end of the season at the very earliest.

Livermore will be ineligible to play against Spurs in tomorrow's Premier League match, but the news will be a boost to Bruce, who would have been sweating over a midfield reinforcement otherwise.

Graham set for exit:

Danny Graham's loan spell at the club has been cut short and he will return to Sunderland before making a move to a Championship club, according to the Hull Daily Mail.

There are rumours that Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough are the frontrunners to snap him up on loan for the rest of the campaign, as Graham seeks a fresh start - having scored just once and largely floundering upon his arrival at the KC Stadium.

Other news:

Jack Hobbs is thought to be the other likely departure, with Forest the favourites to cash in on the other Tigers outcast.

Matty Fryatt, however, who has been linked with Sheffield Wednesday and Burnley, will not be moving clubs before tonight's deadline and will remain on Humberside as understudy first-choice duo Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic for the rest of the season.
