Fulham, Lille and Nottingham Forest stars all feature.
Tottenham Hotspur have been one of the quieter clubs this transfer window with Tim Sherwood seemingly content with the squad of players he has at his disposal.
It was never going to be a massive window for Tottenham following the huge amount of cash the club spent last summer but that hasn’t stopped several rumours linking Tottenham with last minute moves.
Here are three players the club could potentially sign today.
Dimitar Berbatov (Fulham)
The former Tottenham man has been linked with a move back to White Hart Lane several times this month.
He’s valued at around £1.5-2 million which means he wouldn’t be a huge signing for the club compared to a lot of other deals going through in the modern era.
Berbatov offers experience and he knows the club. He’s the ideal sort of signing Sherwood could go for if he’s not completely convinced by the attacking reserves at his disposal.
Salomon Kalou (Lille)
The former Chelsea man is another attacking option Spurs could go after and someone who could also play out wide, down either side of the midfield.
The problem Spurs face today is that reports suggest the French side don’t want to part with Kalou, which means they may have to pay over the odds to get a deal done in time.
The initial fee which came up when this idea was first raised in the press was around £3 million, again, not an impossible fee for the club to manage.
Karl Darlow (Nottingham Forest)
Darlow has been suggested as a signing for Spurs this month, with the club trying to find an eventual replacement to Hugo Lloris.
It’s not an impossible deal because the initial reports have suggested Spurs would loan him back to Nottingham Forest which may make them more open to negotiating a transfer today.
