Redknapp is looking to bring in some reinforcements to strengthen QPR''s promotion push
Harry Redknapp is always busy on transfer deadline day, and you usually see him giving an interview in his car window explaining who he's after. He has confirmed that he is hoping to conclude at least five signings today.
Queens Park Rangers have already confirmed the signing of Aaron Hughes. The defender has joined on a loan deal until the end of the season. Speaking about the transfer Harry said "He's versatile. He can play centre-back or right-back and he's good enough to walk this division."
Kevin Doyle looked set to join the club this morning from Wolverhampton Wanderers, also on a loan deal. Doyle has arrived at QPR's training ground according to Sky Sports News and Harry has confirmed the deal is done.
Atletico Paranaense forward Guillherme Dellatorre is another striker Redknapp wants to bring to Loftus Road. After Charlie Austin's shoulder injury was confirmed as a long-term one, QPR will need to replace his goals. Speaking of Dellatorre Redknapp said "He is a young player from Brazil. I would be a liar if I said I knew a lot about him but he has appeared on the radar and is probably one for the future, he may be now but he is here now and my scouts have seen him."
The QPR boss could still want another striker though, but said a move for Inter's Ishak Belfodil had fallen through. He confirmed they had spoken about former Arsenal striker Eduardo too, but that was unlikely to go through now.
That other striker coming in could be Will Keane on loan from Manchester United. He recently spent time on loan at Wigan Athletic failing to score in four appearance before picking up an injury.
