Crystal Palace have completed the signings of Jason Puncheon and Wayne Hennessey, and are in talks with at least three more players.
It was set up to be a very busy day for Crystal Palace on deadline day and it hasn't disappointed. In what had been a long month for Palace fans with minimal transfer activity, it all kicked off on deadline day.
Crystal Palace have so far completed two signings, but it is doubtful that this will conclude their business for the day. Jason Puncheon has turned his loan deal from Southampton into a permanent one, signing a four-and-half-year deal with The Eagles. Puncheon has already made 20 appearances this season. scoring three goals. The fee is thought to be in the region of £1.25 million.
Puncheon said: 'It's great to sign a permanent deal, it's something I dreamt about when I was a kid so I'm pleased to get it done. I was here when I was eight years old when the likes of Dean Gordon and Chris Armstrong were here so that makes its special'.
Wayne Hennessey has also joined Crystal Palace, arriving from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £3 million. The Welsh international goalkeeper has a lot of experience of top flight football, but has had some severe injury problems of late. Hennessey played 71 times in the top flight for Wolves, but missed the whole of last season due to injury and spent some time on loan at Championship side Yeovil this season.

Scott Dann is in talks with Palace over a move to Selhurst Park from Blackburn Rovers. Manager Tony Pulis identified Dann as a target at the start of the window, but it has taken until now for them to discuss terms.
The situation surrounding Tom Ince is a confusing one. He seemed to be set to join Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season, but now Stoke City's interest has stalled that deal. It is thought Ince does not want a permanent deal, he would favour playing in the top flight on loan for the rest of the season. It would then allow him to consider his options in the summer.
Neil Lennon has confirmed that Celtic have accepted a bid for Joe Ledley from Crystal Palace. Despite accepting the bid, Celtic would like to keep hold of Ledley, and he has had a contract offer on the table from them for some time now. It is not know whether Ledley is keen on a move to Selhurst Park.
Crystal Palace will not, however, be signing Ivan Ramis. A fee had been agreed with Wigan Athletic for the central defender and he was at the club's training ground on Friday to discuss terms and undergo a medical. He failed the medical, however, and the deal has fallen through.
