Fulham have been busy today - with the impressive looking arrivals of Lewis Holtby on loan from Tottenham and the big money signing of Kostas Mitroglou from Olympiakos.
The free-scoring Greek international has arrived for a fee in the region of £12 million - and his arrival appears to have seen Dimitar Berbatov be given the go ahead for a move away this winter.
The Bulgarian was out of contract at the end of the season and despite his undoubted ability he is not exactly the type of player you want for a relegation battle.
The likes of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the player - but it seems the Premier League is now set to say goodbye to the mercurial star.
The former Manchester United striker has been in Monaco today to establish a potential move to the big spending Ligue 1 outfit.
They are after cover in the striking department after the serious knee injury suffered by record signing Radamel Falcao.
And it is now reported a deal is done for the enigma that is Berbatov.
French press report that Berbatov has now completed his medical at the club, passed it - and just the dots need dotting and T’s need crossing to see Berba become a Monaco player.
It is reported to be a loan deal - at the end of which Berbatov will be a free agent and can then consider his future move in the summer.
Berbatov will be missed by many at Craven Cottage - and by Premier League fans in general after his often lazy but class stint in English football.
However others at Fulham will be glad to see him leave - as he seemed a hindrance in their battle for survival.
Either way, most will wish him luck - and we are sure he will enjoy the lax tax regulations in the principality.
