All the latest transfer news and gossip at the start of this Deadline Day.
Arsenal still maintain hope of signing Mirko Vucinic on loan from Juventus this summer. The Montenegrin seemed to categorically rule out a switch from Turin this winter just yesterday - but there are developments on the South Coast that might just change such a stance.
Southampton are desperate to offload Dani Osvaldo - after his disciplinary problems which have seen him suspended by the club for two weeks.
Mauricio Pochettino now wants him gone - and Juventus appear the team most likely to snap him up.
The Italian international is set to join on loan with an option to buy - with just an apparent difference in opinion over the fee that should be paid for his services.
Some reports believe that the 30-year-old could leave the club should another striker arrive on Deadline Day.
It is reported that the Catalan club have no desire to let the young forward leave on loan.
With Theo Walcott out until the end of the season it was rumoured that Wenger might make a move for the player - especially after the apparent failure in the pursuit of Julian Draxler.
The Draxler move does seem to be dead. Wenger is said to not be keen on spending the £37 million Schalke 04 want for him - and Horst Heldt, the clubs sporting director, confirmed yesterday that he does not believe Draxler will be making a move today.
He also made it clear that reports over a suggested release clause for the summer are false - stating the clause is now out of date:
"That agreement was only in place for last year. From now on, the transfer fee is up for negotiation."
Expect more news after Arsene Wenger's press conference this morning.
