Leeds United reject £4m offer from Cardiff City, Nottingham Forest and Wigan Athletic watch-on as Hull City defender decides future, Blackburn Rovers captain closer to Crystal Palace move and Wolverhampton Wanderers close in on promising defender.
Journalist Alan Nixon has tweeted that the Jack Hobbs transfer saga could be over within the next few hours. Forest are back in for the player, but face stiff competition from Wigan. Hobbs enjoyed a very successful loan spell at the City Ground and a return is thought to be on the cards.
Sky Sports sources understand that Leeds United have rejected a £4m bid from Cardiff City for talismanic striker Ross McCormack. Leeds have previously rejected a bid from West Ham, whilst Sunderland are reportedly watching the situation as well.
In the Pipeline:
QPR and Watford are chasing highly-rated young striker Scott Hogdan, according to Sky Sports sources.
QPR manager Harry Redknapp has already been busy in the transfer market today, signing no-less than three players and wants more on the way. Watford could be looking for more fire power as their lack of goals has cost them at times this season.
According to journalist Alan Nixon, Scott Dann is edging closer to signing with Crystal Palace. Commenting the player 'had shown some bottle' to get the move going, hinting it could largely be down to cost.
Wolves are poised to sign Wycombe Wanderers defender Kortney Hause, according to Sky Sports reports.
The promising 18-year-old defender has played 22 times for Wycombe this season, scoring two goals. This could potentially be a coup for Wolves, if he can carry on progressing like he has done.
Kevin Doyle has completed his loan switch from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Queens Park Rangers.
The Wolves striker has been in and out of the side this season, but now could grab this opportunity to play under Harry Redknapp with both hand - replacing the injured Charlie Austin in the first 11.
Barnsley have completed the signing of winger Martin Woods on a free transfer.
Woods, 28, is a former Doncaster Rovers player who made over 100 appearances for the Yorkshire club.
