It's been a busy day at Chelsea with regard to additions, with nobody expecting any late arrivals.
Croatian teenager Mario Pasalic is due to sign for around €2 million, while a deal for Kurt Zouma could be worth nearly eight times that.
French outlet RMC reported this morning that the Saint-Etienne centre-back was Chelsea bound, after the two clubs struck a €15 million deal.
Now it is reported that the deal has progressed to the point that Zouma has undertaken a medical with Chelsea, and been given the green light.
French newspaper Le Progres reported that the tough tackling defender's switch is now just a formality.
Zouma will not link up with Chelsea just yet however. As reported earlier by RMC, he will stay with Saint-Etienne until the end of the current season and join up in the summer.
It's a deal which suits all parties. Chelsea sign one of the outstanding prospects in European football, Zouma lands his dream move, and Saint-Etienne get to keep him until the end of the season, while netting a decent fee in return.
