Tony Pulis has a busy day ahead of him as he looks to bring in a few players.
It has been a frustrating window for Crystal Palace so far but at least the performances on the pitch have given the fans reason to cheer. The Eagles now find themselves five points clear of the relegation zone. Credit has to go to Pulis, he really has turned around their fortunes since arriving.
However the club will still hope reinforcements can be brought in, particularly in defence and attack. Here are three players Palace could sign on deadline day:
Will Buckley - Brighton & Hove Albion
Buckley has long been linked with Palace, as have many players during January, but it is though Palace would be able to tie up a deal for Buckley before the deadline. The Guardian suggest that he could be available for £1.5 million, and his wage demands are unlikely to scupper any proposed move. Sunderland may also be interested in the winger though, with Gus Poyet an admirer of his former player.
Cedric Bakambu - Sochaux
Palace have been watching the young striker for over a year, and may finally get their man on deadline day. The Mirror have suggested that Palace are confident a deal can be done for the 22-year-old. Earlier this month The Daily Star said that Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew had placed Bakambu at the top of his wish list. They have since signed Luuk De Jong though, leaving Palace free to get their man.
Scott Dann - Blackburn Rovers
Pulis had identified Scott Dann as the man who could solve Palace's defensive problems at the start of January. They have yet to agree a fee with Rovers though, but as so often seen on deadline day, a club can back down over certain demands. Or Palace may in fact push the boat out that little further in order to make sure they complete the signing. Dann himself could hand in a transfer request to make the move easier. However The Guardian suggests that The Eagles aren't the only club interested in the former Birmingham City defender. Norwich City are also keen on Dann.
