A round up of key transfer stories about Chelsea this morning.

The Daily Star has suggested that Chelsea are ready to offload on loan striker Romelu Lukaku.

With the Blues lining up a potential summer deal for Atletico Madrid’s Diego Costa, the paper has suggested the Belgian could be axed as a result.

Chelsea have also been linked with AS Monaco’s Falcao and will reportedly listen to £20 million offers for Lukaku.

Ligue One side Saint-Etienne have revealed they are in no hurry to do a deal for Kurt Zouma.

Chelsea were being tipped to land the youngster before the close of the transfer deadline this week, but the French side have said they are prepared to wait until the summer.

“There have been discussions for Zouma with English, Italian and French clubs, but he will not be leaving this month unless we find an agreement with some of the potential buyers. If not, he will have to wait until the summer. We are under no obligation to sell,” said co-president Roland Romeyer.

The Daily Express has reported that FC Porto star Nicolas Otamendi is open to a move away from the Portuguese giants.

The 25-year-old is thought to be keen on playing regularly over the second half of the season to guarantee his place in Argentina’s World Cup squad.

Otamendi was being tipped for a loan move to Valencia before the deal fell apart with the La Liga side.
