Arsenal are said to be closing in on the loan of Juventus forward Mirko Vucinic.

What do fans need to know about the prospective new addition?

1) Mirko Vucinic is a versatile forward who can play up front or as a left sided attacker, similar to Lukas Podolski.

2) 30-years-old, he scored 10 goals and provided 6 assists last season for Juventus, but has made just four starts this campaign, scoring twice.

3) He is the captain of the Montenegro international team, scoring 14 goals in 32 appearances. He played international football for Serbia and Montengro before his country gained independence in 2006.

4) Roma paid £17.6 million to sign him from Lecce in 2007, with Juventus buying him for £13.2 million four years later.

5) Vucinic has scored against Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid during Champions League campaigns for Roma.
