Former Manchester United defender linked with Watford and Blackpool, Millwall and Charlton Athletic track striker, West Bromwich Albion scout Burnley goalscorer, Bolton Wanderers agree to sign Middlesbrough striker and AC Milan track Queens Park Rangers midfielder.
1) Former Manchester United and Arsenal defender Mikael Silvestre could be heading back to England at the age of 36, according to Sky Sports reports.
Watford and Blackpool have been rumoured to have interest in the 5-time Premier League winner, with his agent claiming he has attracted a lot of interest from both England and America.
Despite having a distinguished CV, it could still be a gamble for the side that wins his signature, after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament last season, which played a major part in his short stay at Portland Timbers.
2) Championship rivals Millwall and Charlton could face-off in a battle for former Norwich City striker Simeon Jackson, according to Sky Sports reports.
Jackson, 26, signed for Bundesliga side Eintracht Braunschweig in the summer on a two-year deal but has found life in Germany difficult. The Canadian international has started just 6 times in the Bundesliga since arriving, without scoring a single goal.
He hasn't played since late November and reports suggest he could end up back in the Championship, the division in which he made his reputation.
3) West Bromwich Albion could be ready to move for £6m rated England U21 striker Danny Ings after Pepe Mel sent their chief scout to report on him, according to The Mirror.
Danny Ings has been one of the most speculated players this transfer window with a number of Premier League clubs reportedly looking at his progress, including the likes of Liverpool.
Ings, 21, has been an integral part of Burnley's promotion push and losing him so late on in the window could derail their campaign. Therefore, I find it more likely that a deal is far more likely to be concluded in the summer, rather than this week.
Dougie Freedman told the reporters that he believed the striker has the pedigree to become one of the top strikers in the division and with the right service could become a lethal Championship striker.
However, in a high scoring Middlesbrough side the 24-year-old could only manage 1 goal in 22 appearances, which has cast doubt whether he can fire Bolton up the table.
The 24-year-old is currently on-loan at Fulham but has only made 12 Premier League appearances this season for the Cottagers. Once tracked by Real Madrid and renowned as one of the best players seen by the second division, the career of Adel Taarabt has gone incredibly off the boil.
However, a move to Milan could provide the perfect platform for the dynamic midfielder to shine once again.
