Fredy Guarin is desperate for talks regarding his future according to his agent.
While players like Juan Mata have enjoyed a positive January transfer window, others like Fredy Guarin have not.
To elaborate, Mata went from being a bit-part player at Chelsea to signing with Manchester United where he is being lauded as a club saviour.
Guarin has gone from being the Milan derby match winner, to a player the club tried to trade away, who faces an uncertain future going into the last three days of the transfer window.
It had appeared the Colombian would become a Chelsea player at one stage, but Jose Mourinho elected to move for Nemanja Matic instead.
A swap deal between Inter and Juventus for Guarin and Mirko Vucinic was cancelled by the Inter president Erick Thohir at the last minute because fans were against the move.
Yet Guarin's future remains uncertain, with Manchester United the club most recently linked, and he was dropped from Inter's squad for their most recent match.
Yet this has failed to materialise so far, leaving Guarin increasingly anxious.
The Italian press report Guarin's agent is desperate for talks and his agent has pleaded publicly for 'minutes' with Inter Milan owner Erick Thohir.
Marcelo Ferreyra said: "I ask Thohir to dedicate just a minute. Many things are said, but the only thing we want to do is talk to the president."
Guarin is a talented central midfielder said to be available for £15 million. Essentially he is Manchester United's if they want him - and he is not cup tied for European competition either.
With time running out, and United yet to make a move, it appears Guarin's representatives are attempting to repair any broken bridges, or at least find out where they stand.
If he ends up staying, which the player has said he is always happy to - a quick head to head between all parties is wise to get everybody moving in the same direction once again.
