A round up of the latest transfer stories about Chelsea.
Both Premier League giants have been linked with making bids for the teenage left-back this week but a deal may have to wait until the summer.
The 18-year-old is reportedly in no hurry to leave St Marys which means a summer deal could be more likely.
Gael Kakuta is expected to make a move to Ligue One in France this week after his loan agreement with Vitesse Arnhem was cancelled.
Kakuta spent a year-and-a-half with the Dutch club as he looked to develop his first team experience.
“I feel, but it is only my opinion, that he has a big desire to go back to France. He needs a club that trusts him, he needs stability. I don't think he is lost to football, I think he is very late,” said Chelsea goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon.
Jose Mourinho is reportedly planning talks with centre forward Samuel Eto’o over a new contract.
Eto’o is only committed to Chelsea until the end of the season and the Chelsea boss has confirmed talks will take place when his current deal expires.
“He decided to come here, play Premier League with Chelsea, [he had] never played in the Premier League, so Samuel is enjoying his career to the end. So, at the end of the season, we will see what he wants to do,” Mourinho told reporters.
