Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, on loan from Chelsea, has suffered an injury mid-way through the Merseyside Derby.
Romelu Lukaku was a key player for Everton in the last Merseyside Derby, scoring two second half goals in the 3-3 draw.
This time around he will not have fond memories. Trailing 1-0 to a Steven Gerrard goal, the Belgian was withdrawn midway through the first half suffering an ankle injury.
Fellow loanee and teammate Gareth Barry caused the impact, sliding into the Belgian's ankle - and he was immediately substituted. The extent of the injury is not yet clear.
