Queens Park Rangers look set to add young Inter striker Ishak Belfodil to their squad and the deal could be done by the end of the day.
Throughout December and early January there were reports that West Ham were trying to secure a temporary switch for the 22-year-old.
But despite a deal seeming to be agreed, Belfodil slipped through the net and reportedly chose QPR over the Hammers.
While the final details of the loan aren't yet complete and QPR manager Harry Redknapp admitted last night that he wasn't sure whether Belfodil would be signing, today could be the decisive day.
The player's agent is also said to be headed for Loftus Road where he will look to sign off on the agreement.
Inter are believed to have agreed to let Belfodil go as he doesn't feature in the immediate first-team plans of coach Walter Mazzarri.
It had been rumoured that Inter would only agree to Belfodil's departure if they guaranteed the signing of Juventus hitman Mirko Vucinic, but that deal is in a state of limbo.
