Manchester United transfer news: Januzaj bid rejected; German duo linked

A select round-up of transfer news relating to Manchester United

As we first revealed late last night, Manchester United have reportedly turned down a substantial bid from Paris Saint-Germain for Adnan Januzaj.

The Belgian winger has only recently signed a new long-term contract at Old Trafford, but the Guardian claims that has not deterred the French side.

However, they continue by stating that David Moyes’ side has no intention of negotiating. And why would they? Januzaj is set to play a pivotal part in the new manager’s version of the club.

In other news, the Metro reports that United are lining up summer moves for German pair Toni Kroos and Marco Reus.

Moyes was spotted talking to Kroos’ agent on Friday, and it is no doubt the pair would add considerable quality to United’s midfield; although they would not come cheap.

And finally, the Telegraph reports that United are prepared to do battle with Chelsea for the signature of Luke Shaw.

Reports over the weekend suggested United had already lodged a £22million offer for the left-back. But the latest story claims a January move is highly unlikely and, with the parties interested, the bidding could be pushed considerably higher next summer.
