Liverpool fans react on Twitter to Moses' performance: 'Can be like a new signing'

Currently on loan from Chelsea, Victor Moses scored Liverpool's opener against Bournemouth in the fourth-round of the FA Cup; but what did the fans think?

Liverpool made it into the fifth-round of the FA Cup earlier today, following a 2-0 victory away to Bournemouth.

Their goals came from a likely and a less likely source, their second from Daniel Sturridge but their opener from Victor Moses – a player who had scored only once all season prior to today.

That strike came in a 2-2 draw with Swansea City back in September. And since then, the on-loan Chelsea man has failed to live up to his considerable talent.

With Sturridge and Luis Suarez starring for the Reds, it may be difficult for a player to steal a headline or two. But even when he has been given chances he has failed to provide the goals and assists he was brought to Anfield to supply.

Against Bournemouth, that changed, and Moses’ all-round performance also suggested there may just be better things to come…if he can use this as a spring-board rather than a one-off.

Moses scored from his only shot on target during the match, and he made two key-passes to set up goal-scoring chances for his teammates. He also had a pass-completion rate of 85% and went on three dribbles (matched only by Sturridge).

Overall, the 23-year-old’s performance was an impressive one, so we took to Twitter after the match to see what the fans thought.
