CONFIRMED: Stevenage & Everton line-ups - McGeady starts

Stevenage

Here is how Stevenage and Everton will line-up for today’s match.

Stevenage starting XI: Day, Ashton, Jones, Morais, Charles, Akins, Zoko, Heslop, Freeman, Smith, Hartley

Subs: Smith, Wedgbury, Burrow, Parrett, Tounkara, Andrade, Deacon

Everton starting XI: Robles, Hibbert, Baines, Jagielka, Oviedo, McGeady, McCarthy, Barry, Stones, Miralles, Naismith

Subs: Howard, Heitinga, Lukaku, Gueye, Osman, Vellios, McAleny

It should not be forgotten that Roberto Martinez was the last manager to win the FA Cup, and given the way Everton have started under him, the Toffees will be hoping this is the season that ends with a trophy held aloft.

Stevenage know all about cup upsets, having ousted Newcastle United from this competition in 2011. But Everton will know that, and Martinez has already said that the division clubs are in matters little when the FA Cup rolls around.

Today’s match is the first ever meeting between the two sides in this competition. However, they are already fairly familiar with each other, after the Toffees’ 2-1 League Cup triumph back in August.

What do you think the result will be today?
