Five players who should leave Arsenal this week

Who could be on their way out of The Emirates Stadium before the deadline slams shut on Friday?

So there is just one week to go until the Transfer Window slams shut - and finally we are seeing some action.

Manchester United and Chelsea have made their big moves in the past couple of days - but with seven days left on the ‘Transfer Clock’ the big boys also have plenty of players who might be considering their positions.

So which players should be seeking a move away from Arsenal in January?

Park Chu-Young

The South Korean is a ghost in North London - rarely getting a game and certainly not a part of the future plans.

With Yaya Sanogo back from injury - and a potential place at the World Cup with South Korea up for grabs he could easily be on his way out.

Emiliano Viviano

The Italian only arrived in the capital in September on loan - but he wants to go to the World Cup with Italy.

He should cancel his deal and head off on loan elsewhere for first-team football - his presence is doing the player and club no good.

Emmanuel Frimpong

The Ghanaian was today said to be on his way this month. He is out of contract at the end of the season but he is said to be on his way this month - with a host of Championship clubs and those abroad said to be keen.

Ryo Miyaichi

The Japanese international has struggled with injuries recently and that has seen his chances of getting into the first-team plummet.

Wenger has admitted that he wants to loan him out for the rest of the season - and that seems to be in the process.

Thomas Eisfeld

Another great young talent at Arsenal - that needs to get some first-team football under his belt.

Plenty of Championship sides must be interested in his services - and a move might just be the best option.
