Why is this Arsenal and Man City Real Madrid target 'bored'?

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has revealed he's bored of the speculation around his future.

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has revealed he’s bored with the constant speculation surrounding his position and status at the Spanish club.

The Madrid icon has seen his place in the La Liga side lost to Diego Lopez which has created intense speculation that he could seek a challenge away from the Bernabeu ahead of next season.

Arsenal and Manchester City are the two big sides linked with moves from the Premier League, but it appears he’s finally put an end to the matter.

“Please let's stop talking about my situation because even I'm bored of it! - Of course (plans to stay at Real Madrid next season). All I have to think about at the moment is that we're in three competitions and that last year we had a really rough time, while this year we're doing really well,” said the Spaniard as per Marca.

It shouldn’t be too much of a blow to Arsenal or Manchester City because both clubs are well stocked in the goalkeeper department.

Wojciech Szczesny seems to have finally shaken off the idea that he can’t be a long term number one for the Gunners, earning a new contract, while City have one of the best goalkeepers in Europe in the form of Joe Hart.

Santi Cazorla recently said that Casillas shouldn’t be afraid to look for football outside of Real Madrid if he felt he wasn’t getting a fair crack of the whip under Carlo Ancelotti, but the long serving servant of the club doesn’t appear to be ready to jump ship.
