VIDEO: £55m Manchester United target misses open goal as PSG lose

PSG forward Edinson Cavani produced a horror miss as his side went out of the Coupe de France last night.

£55 million Manchester United target Edinson Cavani enjoyed mixed fortunes last night as Paris Saint-Germain were dumped out of the Coupe de France by Montpellier.

PSG lost the game 2-1 and Cavani produced one of the most shocking misses he will ever have the misfortune of enduring throughout his career, as well as scoring an equaliser which got his side back in the game.

The recent speculation has suggested that Manchester United will wait until the summer before making a big money move for Cavani, if it means they are going to lose current striker Wayne Rooney.

Fingers crossed for David Moyes that if his side do sign the Uruguayan, the one who can score in front of an open goal turns up instead of the striker who puts the easiest ‘my Gran could have scored that’ efforts wide.

Take a look at the goal and the miss below.
