Fulham manager Rene Meulensteen has admitted his interest in Leicester City's promising young defender Liam Moore.
Moore has excelled for the Foxes at the heart of the Championship table toppers' backline and has earned rave reviews for his string of excellent performances.
With the Cottagers having conceded the most goals in the Premier League so far this season, Moore has emerged as a key target in Meulensteen's recruitment drive in this transfer window and the Dutchman confirmed the club's interest at a press conference.
Meulensteen, who revealed CEO Alistair Mackintosh will deal with the negotiations, told reporters: "We've put a bid in but it's up to Alistair Macintosh.
"[Reports on potential targets] are quite accurate, but MacIntosh is dealing with transfers. I'm focused on training the players."
The former Manchester United first-team coach also revealed interest in the out-of-favour midfield man Derek Boateng from Championship side Watford and Ligue 1 outfit Evian Thonon.
Is Moore the answer to Fulham's defensive woes?
