Negotiations between Napoli and Tottenham over French international midfielder Étienne Capoue have so far been unsuccessful and it seems the Italian side aren't willing to make any further concessions.
The Partenopei are very keen to add to their midfield ranks and have identified Capoue as their ideal recruit for the position.
However, Napoli are reportedly unwilling to meet Spurs' valuation and the player's agent has hit out at the White Hart Lane outfit for their demands.
The offer is said to be £8.6m while Tottenham allegedly want at least £12.3m, which represents a significant gap.
The paper reports that Napoli sporting director Riccardo Bigon is tired of upping his offer and has told Spurs technical director Franco Baldini that his side won't enter an auction.
Napoli are said to be ready to chase an alternative in Corinthians man Ralf, who could leave the Brazilian club on a paid loan without any of the complications posed by Capoue's talks.
