A round up of the latest transfer stories about Chelsea.
The Telegraph has suggested Chelsea will target Everton youngster Ross Barkley in the summer.
Chelsea appear to have identified the Everton youngster as one of their main summer transfer targets, as Jose Mourinho looks to invest in youth.
However, Everton boss Roberto Martinez has previously suggested that he wouldn’t entertain the idea of selling Barkley, even for a fee of £50 million.
Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has said that goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is worth a £20 million fee.
The 21-year-old has been on loan with the La Liga side for the last three seasons and Simeone says anything paid now would be cheap compared to what he will be worth.
“Definitely. For me, anything paid for Courtois would be cheap. He’s a young guy who has a huge future and is on track to becoming one of the best goalkeepers in the world,” said the Argentinian coach.
The Daily Mail has strongly suggested that Chelsea will try and hijack Liverpool’s attempts to sign Mohamed Salah.
The FC Basel winger has been linked with a move to Anfield for most of this month but the Blues could steal the deal at the final hurdle with an £11 million bid.
Midfielder Juan Mata is set to complete a £37 million move to Manchester United, which will free up a space in the Chelsea midfield and squad.
