Former Spurs man Osvaldo Ardiles has said he feels lucky to be alive after being involved in a car crash with former Spurs teammate in the Falkland Islands.
The Argentine pair were filming a documentary about their experiences of playing in England whilst the Falklands conflict was taking place in 1982.
Ardiles is quoted in the London Evening Standard, saying: ‘I thought at one point I was going to die.
‘When I began to lose control of the car I thought, ‘this is really very serious.’’
