A round up of the latest transfer stories about Tottenham Hotspur.

The Daily Mail has reported that Stoke City are lining up a surprising move for Spurs midfielder Lewis Holtby.

The German has been heavily linked with a move back to the Bundesliga but he may now have a chance to stay in the Premier League.

A loan deal is thought to be off the table with a number of players at Stoke already on temporary deals.

Napoli will pull the plug on attempts to sign Tottenham star Etienne Capoue over his valuation.

Tottenham are believed to want a fee of £12 million for the Frenchman who only moved to the club last summer.

“The problem is not the player or Napoli - Tottenham just want a lot of money. What they're asking for is absurd,” said Capoue’s representative Martha Fischer.

Tottenham remain in the hunt to sign Real Betis winger Alvaro Vadillo according to latest reports.

Spurs have been linked with the wide man for a significant period of time, with reports dating back to last summer.

However, should the chance to move to the Premier League come up, it’s been reported that the player would prefer a move to arch rivals Arsenal before considering Spurs.
