Arsene Wenger's sighting at Heathrow Airport sparked much speculation earlier today, and we had a bit of fun with it earlier, suggesting he was jetting abroad to buy a new coat.
Yet his actual destination can be revealed, amid reports in Spain he is in attendance at the Levante v Barcelona game in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday evening.
Spanish newspaper Sport report Wenger is at the home ground of Levante for the fixture, which saw the home side take an early lead through former Liverpool man Nabil El Zhar.
The paper write: "The City of Valencia received a very special visit, the French coach Wednesday Arsène Wenger.
"The objective of the technical 'gunner' seems clear: check closely the developments of some players enjoy it which might be considered as 'future events'."
They speculate on potential players he is viewing, touting Cristian Tello and Pedro Rodgriguez, neither of who are expected to leave Barcelona this January. Former Gunner Alex Song was named in the starting line-up.
