Arsenal's top scorer names Liverpool ground as among his favourites

Ramsey Celebrates 2013

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has revealed his favourite place to play…

The 23-year-old Welshman is on his way to a return to action for the Gunners but took time out to discuss his favourite stadiums to play away. Ramsey is currently Arsenal’s top goal scorer on 13 goals and 7 assists in all competitions so far this term.

“I like the old stadiums. There’s a good atmosphere in them. Dortmund was pretty cool. I also like playing at Anfield,” he told reporters.

The youngster signed a new contract with the North London club last season, tying up his future until the summer of 2018 but he won’t have to wait too long before he can make a trip to Anfield this year as Arsenal take on Liverpool early next month.

The Gunners currently sit top of the Premier League table, one point clear of Manchester City but the Welsh ace’s return to availability for manager Arsene Wenger could very well make all the difference as we head into the business end of the season.

Arsenal face Southampton and Crystal Palace in the league ahead of their visit to Anfield and following that clash they will host English champions Manchester United and the Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich at the Emirates in a tough Champions League tie against the current holders.

The Gunners beat Liverpool 2-0 at the Emirates back in early November and followed that result with a 1-0 win away at Borussia Dortmund with Ramsey scoring in both games so it's no wonder he has such fond memories.
