According the well-respected French magazine France Football, PSG are willing to offer a massive €80m to land their number one target this summer.
The Belgian international has been playing in a wide left position, cutting in with regularity to devastating effect. In 21 Premier League starts, the PSG target has found the net nine times, assisting a further five.
Eden Hazard has been linked with a move to PSG for some time, and reports came to surface last week in The Mirror that Chelsea’s number 17 had reportedly told a team-mate that he would be joining the Parisians after the World Cup.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho scoffed at the idea, suggesting that it would take crazy money to part.
"I'm not worried because if his value was around £40 million when Chelsea bought him, if two years later he's twice or three times better than he was when we bought him, I think his value is a crazy value, so Eden on top of that is not a player Chelsea is interesting in selling anyway.
"Our tag is not to sell, plus the crazy amount that he can value in this moment, I think no chance that Eden can leave."
Well what constitutes the crazy money that Jose Mourinho referred to? A bid of €80m is crazy money, but would it be enough for Chelsea to sell? The answer is probably no. Nevertheless, the confidence exuberated from the French magazine cover would suggest that PSG are far from giving up on their pursuit of Hazard.
